Deep Learning-Based Exploration of Influence of Diet and Nutrient on the Gut Metagenome

Our group has been working on the interrelationship between diet and gut microbiota and disease for a long time and has published a series of articles on this topic. However, our current research is focused on animal testing or cohort with small sample. These experimental results are subject to a high degree of chance and inaccuracy, which limits our exploration of the relationship between diet and gut microbiota. In addition, we have invited some algorithm engineers who are good at data analysis, such as machine learning, deep learning, and metagenome analysis, to our team, so we would like to use big data analysis to guide us to explore the interrelationship between gut microbiota and diets, so that we can treat diseases from the perspective of diet and gut microbiota. In terms of mechanism, we are equipped with a germ-free animal room and a variety of analytical methods such as transcriptome, proteome and metabolome, which provide the basis for studying the mechanism of diet and gut microbiota.
