Social networks’ influence on planetary diet adoption: an agent-based modelling approach

Our research aims to understand how adopting sustainable diets, known as planetary diets, can spread through communities and have a positive impact on human health and the environment. We will study the social networks of individuals living the chosen area in the Netherlands, to see how these dietary choices can influence and inspire others. By using advanced modeling techniques, we will imitate the ripple effect of adoption of planetary diets within communities over time
