Strabismus Meta-analysis
- UGLI SC: Interesting phenotype and no major comment. If 4% of the population is affected then that implies ~2000 cases in LL among the genotyped folks. I’m not sure how that compares to previous studies. If there is information on strabismus on ungenotyped individuals (e.g. children) who are first-degree relatives of genotyped individuals then you can get additional information by using a ‘proxy-case’ design.
- Lifelines: who will do the analyses? Peter and/or Jelle or…?
- Please be aware that the UGLI data (genetic and phenotypic data) will be made available on a HPC Linux environment and that the researcher working with the data should have knowledge on how to work in this kind of environment.
