Uncovering the role of dietary and environmental biodiversity and healthy ageing

The overarching aim of this research is to investigate the effect of biodiversity on health. In this case we will measure ‘biodiversity of the plate’, i.e. the variety of the food we eat; and ‘biodiversity of the environment’, i.e. around the place where we live. We will answer the following questions:
1)Is a higher variety of the food we eat, regardless of what we eat,  associated to better health and slower ageing?
2)Is living in a more biodiverse environment associated to better health and slower ageing?
3) What are the interactions between variety in diet and environmental biodiversity in relation to ageing
